Welcome to our Improv Workshop! These exercises are designed to energize your team, improve collaboration, and stimulate creativity. Keep an open mind, have fun, and let your imagination flow.
Instructions
Prepare a comfortable space where participants can move freely. Gather up to 10 people if possible.
Warm Up (5 min): Form a circle. One person throws a word to another player while pointing at them. The next player must respond with a new word and pass it along. React naturally, don’t overthink, and smile at the silly associations.
One Word Story (5 min): Create a story together, with each participant contributing one word at a time. Keep it flowing and spontaneous, focusing on teamwork and creativity.
What Are You Doing? (5 min): One player mimes an activity. After 10 seconds, the next player asks "What are you doing?" The first player must reply with a different activity while continuing to mime. Continue around the group. Don’t prepare answers in advance.
Debrief
Reflect on moments of creativity and collaboration.
Discuss how quick thinking impacted the flow of exercises.
Highlight how non-verbal communication supported teamwork.
Share observations about letting go of judgment and embracing spontaneity.
